I don't know how to make one of those just like I am not good at writing poetry, but I know a good one when I see it. I love this. In my humble opinion, I think it's great.
What's this? You have decided to write agin? I am so glad, Angel Face!
And this is so sweet... :-)
Now I'll have to go Google Haku....
I just though it was a short Hub...
Pleased to see you back with us, its been a long dry spell !
Haiku- always fun to write! Di you mind if I use this as an example in the classroom. The children absolutely love doing this, but sometimes like everything else, the better the examples........ the more understanding they are of the concept. Thanks for this ! Kaie
Right to the point, I love Haiku's
Very nice and gets right to the soul of the message.
Simple words but very expressive. Thank you.
beautifully simple - just the right way to reach someone :)
(an opinion of one, not skilled in writing poetry, but loving to read it). Thank you for sharing, Gypsy Willow.

I hope whomever this to the point message was sent to he/she turned around and returned to you:0) Nicely done.
Very nice first effort...Simple, direct, and expressive...This is a different " haiku " than most other forms that require a certain rigidity of syllabic expression...Although it lacks the disciple of construction it conveys an immediacy to the poems' intent...I enjoyed reading this aloud, with your implied emphasis...Thanks for sharing this with us, I am looking forward to more of the same...Larry

Hello Gypsy. Well, this is so different I did not know what to make of it. It is raw and powerful, as in less is more. Thank you for sharing.
Nice picture
Thanks
It was beautiful - you got straight to the point.
enjoyed visiting your site - great work - awesome
Very nice. You know how the saying goes, If you love someone then set them free, and if they come back to you then it is meant to be. :)
Huge depth of feeling in so few words. Beautiful. x
Beautiful! Aloha from Hawaii!
Short and definitely sweet. Thanks for a great Haiku.
..well this is just for you - please accept my humble thanks for visiting me and making my day a happy one.
Your words here are so soft and sweet and true - that it could only come from someone as nice as you!
This is new to me Gypsy Willow, but the picture is awesome and make me want to learn more about Haiku. Thank you for sharing this :)
I enjoyed your lovely Haiku poem. It is straight to the heart of the matter. No pussy footing around. Well done!
Hi Gypsy, love this poem, glad your back! You have a true talent!
I love to get exposure to different forms of writing and poetry. This is the first Haiku I ever liked from the onset. Beautiful...
Thank you for a nice, short and sweet poem. Thank you also for being one of my followers, I appreciate you. Godspeed. creativeone59
Simply but yet perfect. What more is there to say when one is in love. Return, stay, never leave me. Hugs
What I find so beautiful about this poem is the raw honesty. My pride would never allow me to tell a man I am in love with that I need him, want him, or tell him to turn around, come back, or return. Although some have commented on the simplicity of the few words so directly put, I find the reality of what was said, to be extremely complicated. These words could only be uttered by a woman that is self assured, confident, and willing to risk all (emotionally) for love. You are an incredible woman. It saddens me that a woman of my age is either not brave enough or has never loved enough to utter such basic and simple words to a man.
Without knowing this, the poem could be interpreted so many different ways. As poetry often is. Knowing this about you and him gives me a whole new perspective and it is even more beautiful. None of us know if our loved one will return. I lost my husband 3 years ago, suddenly. I know the fear you feel. You at least get to say these words to your husband. I never got the chance and now I never will. Thank you for the explanation and my wish is that he has a safe return home to you every time.
Poignant, simple but complicated too - did you show this to your man?
Amazing! The emotions you've managed to provoke in me with only a (beautiful) picture and a few words. Voted up and up.
I loved it and it is beautiful. Please visit my hub. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, this was full of meaning, I only recently realised what a haiku was! really liked it, thanks nell
lovely green green grass of home
nice photo.
It is really very beautiful Haiku and I liked it. Thanks for sharing.
Gypsy Willow, Beautiful, simple yet Powerful! Thank you for sharing, Peace & Blessings!
I would probably return after reading that! LOL! Thanks for sharing it! WB
Even with such brevity, the formatting and accompanying picture do well to make this understated poem stand out. Thanks. :)
HI, I love this! I think it is because I am getting the idea of Haiku now, before I just thought they were short but profound poems, but now I realise that the most important thing about them is that each word is meaningful, there are no 'waste' words, and that is what makes it so special great example, cheers nell
Short, very sweet and very direct...your work says the most in such a short period of time. Very powerful and thought-provoking.
Short and Sweet.
Thanks. :)
short sweet and powerful, lady e took teh words out of my mouth!
i feel that i must turn around and come back now. how strange
lovely :]
nice poem, though im sorry to say that this isnt a haiku. a haiku is a japanese poem consisting of 3 lines, the first one 5 syllables, second 7, and then finally the third ending with five syllables. all in all this poem should have 17 syllables but it only has 16.
wow such a great improvement. without taking away any of the great in-depth meaning of this peom you have merely made it an even greater haiku!
Beautiful, I like it.
Perfectly said, and all that is needed to be said. Well done!
Beautiful.
Still amazes me how much can be said in so few words. Lovely my friend.

How Short, How Sweet, How Beautiful! I look forward to following your Hubs.
Enjoyed your Haiku, though the form is different, there have been developed several other forms of Haiku as well and this tends to fall in the free haiku category. Voted up.
Yes, I enjoyed the poem but was distracted by the free form. It was enjoyable though.
Brilliant now I get it!!
Thank you!!

So very straight to the point and I am not alone in liking this one obviously. I look forward to catching up with many more from you Gypsy Willow.

Eiddwen.
Sometimes a few words is all you need. Beautiful.
So much said in so few words, absolutely beautiful.
Hi, short but very sweet! lol lovely!
Simple, direct to the point and meaningful. Thanks for sharing. I used to write Haiku poems during my high school years. It brings back my desire to compose Haiku poems again.
Thanks for sharing. :D
Very unique and interesting poem! But I've to G-search now to find out what is a Haiku poem. Ciao!
Now I know what a Haiku poem is... very interesting concept. :)
Your words are so simple, yet they are very striking. I wish my poetry was even an ounce as good as yours is.
Short and Sweet..... :)
Powerful, truthful, and from the heart. Nothing more is needed. Beautifully done. I love it!

73 Comments, so far, and you answered each one. As impressive as the poem was, I found that impressive, too! 22 feedbacks: awesome (2nd most) and beautiful (the blue ribbon winner.) It's surely nice when Hubbers take the time to click the feedback boxes, don't we know!
Nice Haiku! I love the picture too and find that in a way it goes well with your poem....I could see myself in the little trail and turning back!
